Initial Ideas and Planning

Project Theme

This major project is inspired by the concept of “JH4: Enhancing Graffiti Art through Augmented Reality,” taken from the list of staff projects. However, I aim to take this idea in a new direction by exploring alternative applications of AR beyond just graffiti art.

Concept Development
In preparation for my major project, I conducted extensive research into how augmented reality (AR) is used across different industries. Initially, I generated four rough concepts, which I later refined into one focused idea. I used a Padlet board to help organize and visualize these ideas, providing detailed descriptions, outlining the objectives, identifying the target audiences, specifying the outcomes for each concept, and attaching links to relevant resources that supported my research.

Elaborated concept proposal

Upon evaluating the four concepts for my major project, I focused my attention on one particular idea to explore in greater depth. To clarify the project’s trajectory and my creative goals, I created a straightforward written outline. Additionally, I considered the software tools necessary for developing all the elements I intend to incorporate.

Project outline

I created a Padlet board to streamline the organization of my proposal. Each topic I aimed to address was separated into its own section, with concise bullet points highlighting the key aspects I planned to cover. To aid in my research, I added pertinent links for easy access to information and included additional notes to clarify my refined ideas further.
